What is The Mascot?
The Mascot is a view of football straight from the terrace (sometimes, but rarely... a padded seat). As my football allegiances align with mid-table mediocrity and more recent flirtations with relegation, I find joy & inspiration from footballing exploits that are often further afield than my East Yorkshire homeland. Armed with my trusty phone camera (and actual camera on occasion) which is sympathetically paired with too much time on my hands, I aim to pen those stories here, alongside any other tales of footballing weirdness that pique my interest.
I promise it wont be all Hull City...
